         Unit 3 consisted of knowledge that covers the reconstruction, Black leaders in the new century, the 20th century through the great depression, blacks in world war 2, the early civil rights movement and the merges of black power. Reconstruction was remaking of a new life for blacks, better jobs, equality, freedom. The ten-point party proposed that all blacks should be with-drawled from the war. The party requested freedom for blacks and wanted power to determine the destiny of the black community. Black panthers wanted all racism and brutality on blacks to stop. The party was protesting that blacks should receive land, food, housing, educations, clothes, justice and peace. The formally enslaved wanted education, political rights and economic rights.      Unit 2 consisted of 5 major topics. The constitution, slavery and blacks in the new republic, The peculiar institution antebellum slavery in the cotton kingdom, Blacks and the abolitions movement, the storm before the hurricane, and blacks in the american civil war.     The constitution, slavery and blacks in the new republic, was a topic on how in which, they would analyze the united states constitution. It tells you how they solidified the enslavement of black people in the new nation. the topic gave many explanations on the 3/5 clause and the reason of it being invented, so that 1 can have more votes,even though slaves were not still allowed to vote. the republican also explained the fugitive slaves clause and the bill of rights. there were many free african americans who started there own institution in the early republic of the U.S.       In unit 2 the second amendment was explained with many different components.            While learning about unit 1, Unanswered questions, were answered. This unit explained alot about African American history and touched on multi- topics about the culture and hardships they once went through. The unit consisted of information dealing with "Africa Pre 1500", "The middle passage", "The Racialization of slavery" and  "African Culture before european contact". In the unit, there were many dangerous trips and painful hardships." The Middle Passage" for example was one of the most unsanitary, unhuman travel voyage heard of.            During the passage men and women were separated. The men was shakalled together, in held in that position for about 2 or 3 months, at the lower part of the ship. Many attempts, to try and kill the boat crew, to turn the boat around to set new sail.
